Welcome to New Mexico

A tourism poster that highlights some of the scenic attractions in the state. Using photographs as inspirations, I sketched each destination by hand and then colored them in Adobe Illustrator. The images are placed within an outline of the state's border on a zoomed in map. The rustic pallet is inspired by the wild desert and mountain landscape of New Mexico. I chose to pattern the “New Mexico” with the inverted colors and design of the state’s flag that symbolizes the state's Native American Pueblo and Nuevo México Hispano roots. Completed spring 2019.
