Harlem Restaurant Week

As an intern for Sunbird Creative branding agency, I designed the Harlem Restaurant Week logo, presented below on the event’s website and promotional materials. Inspired by the bold colors and abstracted yet hard-edged forms characteristic of paintings from the Harlem Renaissance, I broke up the letters into geometric shapes and used the pallet from Loïs Mailou Jones’s painting “Moon Masque” (1971). Completed summer 2019.
